“The Soul of Sicily: A Journey through Culture, Cuisine, and Well-Being” 

Hello, world! My business in tourism sales and promotion was born from my twenty years of experience in the world of tourism and Sicilian cuisine. 

As a child, I played amidst the ancient monuments of the archaeological park in Syracuse, running around and singing for my father’s tour groups near Dionysius’ Ear. In Ortigia, the scents and colors of the local market enchanted me—the fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits. I still vividly remember chasing ducks inside the Fonte Aretusa. These memories are sweet and dear to my heart. 

Our family has a deep connection to this work. My father, a tour guide for 40 years, inspired me to follow in his footsteps. I spent about a decade traveling the world, learning new languages, and immersing myself in diverse cultures. Living in England, France, Spain, and Brazil broadened my horizons. Today, I speak four languages. 

I consider myself a daughter of art, having learned the trade by observing and assisting my father during his tours in Eastern Sicily. Additionally, I worked as a Tour Leader for five years, accompanying foreign groups to explore the beauty of my beloved Sicily. 

From my mother’s family, hailing from Ragusa, I inherited the secrets of traditional Sicilian cuisine. Our gatherings were filled with joy as we lit the stone oven and prepared bread and focaccias typical of the Ragusa region. My passion for cooking stems from my dear mother, Rosa. In fact, I now organize Sicilian cooking lessons with authentic Sicilian families. 

Last year, I also became a Naturopath. Studying natural nutrition and various techniques for physical, mental, and emotional well-being, I took courses such as Hydrotherapy at the Kneipp School in Germany. Cold water, harnessed as a method for feeling good, became part of my holistic approach.
